HCDA Engineering, Inc. (formerly Howard C. Dutzi
& Associates, Inc.) was founded in November of 1961. Since its inception
the firm has been engaged as structural engineering consultants to many
architectural firms and other clients for numerous building projects of various
types and sizes. Our present staff consists of five licensed engineers and a
CAD staff knowledgeable in both Autocad and REVIT modeling.
Working to satisfy the needs of our client, we have designed structures using
virtually every type of system and material including masonry, timber,
structural steel, reinforced concrete, post-tensioned and prestressed concrete.
We have designed foundations of all types such as spread footings, driven piles,
and drilled piers. Our experience includes the design of new buildings as well
as extensive experience in remodeling and renovation of existing buildings.
Committed to providing superior service, we believe it is important to be
involved in all aspects of structural engineering services on a project, from
the preliminary concept through preparation of contract documents, review of
shop drawings, and on-site field observations. We work very closely with our
clients investigating and evaluating various types of structural scenarios
early in the design process in order to arrive at the most beneficial system
for everyone involved.
